COMMUNITY

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give – Winston Churchill

Giving back

Silberstein & Associates is a proud supporter of the community

At Silberstein & Associates, we take great pride in giving back to the communities in which we practise. Our firm enjoys a long history of delivering pro bono legal services and participating in community programs with a goal to create opportunities for all.

On both the national and local levels, we support a number of health and social causes that contribute to community building and improvement.

Arts Law Pro Bono Panel

Arts Law Centre for Australia provides free or low cost specialised legal advice, education and resources to artists and arts organisations throughout Australia.

Supported Living Network

Supported Living Network empowers people with disability to take control of their future, live more independently and discover sustainable solutions for long-term wellbeing.

Northcott

Northcott is a not-for-profit disability service provider that empowers clients with confidence, choice and opportunity so they can live their life, as they choose, in their own way.

Northcott Innovation

Northcott Innovation creates new and unexpected solutions for people with disability. They spark ideas that drive all of us towards a more inclusive society.

The Justice Project

The National Justice Project or NJP is positioned as one of Australia’s leading experts in human rights advocacy, litigation and legal reform with initiatives seeking justice for primarily First Nations peoples, asylum seekers and refugees.

The NJP works alongside community partners and local governments to identify, assess and conduct research that will contribute to long-term and strategic change to the Australian legal system. The Project applies expertise from academics, legal practitioners and advocates from a wide range of disciplines, to advance human rights and bring about a more equitable and fair society.
